In connection with the implementation of the Summer School program organized by FTSL ITB as part of the ITB World Class University activities program, entitled Tropical Coastal Zone Development 2019 (TROCOZ 2019), which was attended by foreign students and Indonesian students at ITB, 2 students of Master of Engineering study programs Marine participated in the event. The TROCOZ 2019 program was attended by 32 participants consisting of 22 non-Indonesian students and 10 Indonesian ITB students. The students of the Master of Ocean Engineering study program who joined TRCOZ 2019 were Rahmadimi and Ismail Agni.

TROCOZ 2019 will be held on August 13-24, 2019 at the ITB campus and excursion location on Pangandaran Beach – West Java. Activities at TROCOZ 2019 consist of face-to-face lectures in class, field trips, cultural activities, group presentations, and group performances. The lecturers at TROCOZ 2019 consisted of 3 foreign speakers from Malaysia, Vietnam, and 10 ITB teaching staff. Foreign lecturers participating as resource persons are:

1. Do Khac Uan (Assoc. Prof. Dr) from Hanoi University of Science and Technology – Vietnam
2. Ahmad Khairi bin Abd Wahab from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – Malaysia
3. Adi Maimun bin Abdul Malik from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – Malaysia
