Since 2008, the Ocean Engineering Study Program has offered an accelerated study program, currently referred to as the Fast-track Program, which provides the opportunity for ITB Ocean Engineering undergraduate students to complete undergraduate and master’s programs within 5 (five) years. In the fourth year of the undergraduate stage, students will take additional courses from the Ocean Engineering master’s program of 6-12 credits, which courses will be recognized when students continue their studies to the Masters’s Program in the fifth year. Students who take Fast-track Program can choose the elective path like students in the regular program, where the elective path offered by the Ocean Engineering master’s program is oecan engineering and offshore project management. The number of credits required by students to fulfill the graduation requirements is 36 credits, of which students take 12 credits in the 4th year and 24 credits in the 5th year.
