Academic Calendar

Academic activities in the Master’s Program in Ocean Engineering are guided by the academic calendar issued by the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) which consists of an odd and even semester agenda of activities in each academic year.

Master’s Program in Ocean Engineering students are required to prepare their respective Theses in accordance with the guidelines and format issued by the ITB Graduate School (SPs). Thesis guidelines and templates can be downloaded on the pages below.

ITB Digital Library Services

Master’s Program in Ocean Engineering students have access to digital library services (https://lib.itb.ac.id/) for the needs of course assignments and thesis provided by the ITB central library, such as:

  1. E-Learning (WilleyPlus)
  2. E-Journal (Science Direct, ASCE, SpringerLink, etc.)
  3. E-Book (ScienceDirect Open Access, Open Library, etc.)
  4. ITB Digital Library

The complete digital library services can be seen in the “Services” menu on the ITB central library website, and can be accessed from outside the campus through VPN network (OpenVPN application is needed).

  1. The procedure for installation and configuration of OpenVPN for each operating system can be read on this page. After the OpenVPN application is installed, students can connect to the ITB network using an active INA account username and password (can be checked on https://nic.itb.ac.id).
  2. Access guides for each of the digital library services can be downloaded here. Some services require e-mailing an ITB student account to register.
