On July 10, 2019, a field study and a Joint Seminar was conducted at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, which was attended by students and academic staff of Master of Ocean Engineering. This field lecture aims to provide insight to students of the Master of Ocean Engineering program about higher education activities in Asia, especially in Southeast Asia. It is hoped that this insight can give the postgraduate students confidence to take part in the international world. The programs visited at Kasetsart University are the Department of Water Resources Engineering (Faculty of Engineering) and the Department of Marine Science (Faculty of Fisheries).

On the same day, a visit was made to Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Chulalongkorn University is the best college in Thailand. In this activity, field visits were made to the Water Resources Engineering – Civil Engineering Program.

The next day, on 11 July 2019, students and academic staff visited Thailand’s Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute (HAII).
