The Master's Program in Ocean Engineering is a linear continuation of the Undergraduate Program in Ocean Engineering. Currently there are two research areas, namely Coastal Engineering and Offshore Engineering.
Coastal Engineering Research Area
The choice of research fields in our study program sets us apart from other Ocean Engineering study programs. The Coastal Engineering field focuses on coastal infrastructure design, while Offshore Engineering focuses on offshore structural technology infrastructure.

Annual Field Study and Student Visit to Universities / Related Institutions
Every year, the Master's Program in Ocean Engineering ITB holds field studies or visits to universities or institutions related to the field of study both domestically and abroad.
Student Exchange Program as a Form of Collaboration with Other Educational Institutions
The Master's Program in Ocean Engineering ITB provides an opportunity for master program students to take part in student exchange programs with educational institutions related to their field of study both at home and abroad.

International Collaboration

Master’s Program in Ocean Engineering ITB has educational collaborations with several international universities, such as National Taiwan University, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering (TIWTE), and Ehime University. This form of cooperation can take the form of student exchange programs, research collaboration, and software training that can support student learning and research.
